30-day Lite Data
Validity	30 days
Data	300MB at 4G/LTE speeds *After using all of 300MB of 4G/LTE data, you will get unlimited data at 3Mbps speeds until the end of the 30 days.
Credits	36,300 Won When you activate the SIM card, there will be a basic credit of 36,300 Won. However, for 30 days, a 1,210 Won usage fee will be deducted every day. (1,210 Won x 30 days = 36,300 Won).
Voice	Dialing/outgoing (local calls only) Unlimited *Incoming calls are free of charge.
SMS	Sending/outgoing (local SMS only) Unlimited *Incoming SMS is free of charge.
SIM Card Extension	You can extend your SIM card for another 30 days at a time for 36,300 Won. Simply follow the instructions on the manual that you receive with your SIM card BEFORE the expiry date. You can extend the SIM card for up to 90 days (including the initial 30 days). If would like to extend for more than 90 days, you MUST have a valid Residence Card (Alien Registration Card, ARC). Simply contact the customer center via the SNS contact info provided on the manual BEFORE your SIM card expires. There will be a charge of 10,000 Won.
Unless you renew your plan, the SIM card will stop working 3 days after the expiry date. Data	10GB at 4G/LTE speeds After 10GB, you get an additional 2GB of daily 4G/LTE data allowance. Only after you reach the daily limit, your data speed will be throttled to 3Mbps for the rest of the day.
Credits	58,500 Won When you activate the SIM card, there will be a basic credit of 58,500 Won. However, for 30 days, a 1,950 Won usage fee will be deducted every day. (1,950 Won x 30 days = 58,500 Won).

Validity	30 days This is only if you do not use more than 100 minutes of voice and send less than 100 SMS within 30 days. Please check below for details.
Data	15GB at 4G/LTE speeds After using all of 15GB of 4G/LTE data, you will get unlimited data at 3Mbps speeds until the end of the 30 days.
Credits	39,600 Won When you activate the SIM card, there will be a basic credit of 39,600 Won. However, for 30 days, a 1,320 Won usage fee will be deducted every day. (1,320 Won x 30 days = 39,600 Won).
Voice	Dialing/outgoing (local calls only) 100 minutes After you use 100 minutes within the 30 days, 1.98 Won/second will be deducted from your remaining credit. *Incoming calls are free of charge.
SMS	Sending/outgoing (local SMS only) 100 SMS If you use all 100 SMS messages within 30 days, 22 Won/SMS will be deducted from your remaining credit. *Incoming SMS is free of charge.
SIM Card Extension	You can extend your SIM card for another 30 days at a time for 39,600 Won. Simply follow the instructions on the manual that you receive with your SIM card BEFORE the expiry date. You can extend the SIM card for up to 90 days (including the initial 30 days). If would like to extend for more than 90 days, you MUST have a valid Residence Card (Alien Registration Card, ARC). Simply contact the customer center via the SNS contact info provided on the manual BEFORE your SIM card expires. There will be a charge of 10,000 Won.
If you use more than 100 minutes of calling (dialing) and/or 100 text messages (sending) within 30 days, the extra charge will be deducted from your credit. This will affect your expiration date. If there is not enough credit to charge 1,320 Won usage fee per day until the end of your 30-day expiration date, your SIM card will expire before 30 days. Unless you renew your plan, the SIM card will stop working 3 days after the expiry date. The SIM card will be deactivated once you call any number that starts with 1588 / 1577 / 02-1588 / 060 / 013 / 050. Only after you reach the additional 2GB daily limit, your data speed will be throttled to 3Mbps for the rest of the day. Every 30 days, the data allowance resets to 10GB.
Credits	58,500 Won When you activate the SIM card, there will be a basic credit of 58,500 Won. However, for 30 days, a 1,950 Won usage fee will be deducted every day (1,950 Won x 30 days = 58,500 Won). 58,500 Won of the basic credit will be recharged every 30 days for the 90-day period.

SIM Card Extension	If you would like to extend the SIM card further, you MUST have a valid Residence Card (Alien Registration Card, ARC) and register your SIM card with ARC. Credits	50,000 or 100,000 Won If you charge credits before 90 days of use, you can only use the credits within the 90 days period.

SIM Card Extension	If you would like to extend your SIM card beyond 90 days, you must visit the Hoehyeon office and have a valid Residence Card (Alien Registration Card, ARC) before the expiry date.
Only 1 SIM card can be purchased per person. The universal type SIM is compatible with phones using standard, micro and nano SIM. MVoIP calls via Facetime, Skype, LINE, Kakao, Whatsapp or Messenger are supported. You can share the internet connection with other devices via tethering. You can charge your credits, but the validity of your sim card will not be extended beyond 90 days unless you register the sim card with a valid Residence Card (Alien Registration Card, ARC). If you do not extend your validity date, the SIM card will be terminated after 90 days.

Checklist for booking

Make sure to book with the exact full name on your passport.
If you have used a SIM card in Korea before, please give us the IMEI information of your phone in the required information field. You can find the IMEI information of your phone by pressing *#06# on the dial screen from your phone.
Please make sure to unlock your smartphone through your cellphone carrier before coming to Korea, especially if you are from the United States, Canada or Japan. If your smartphone is locked, you CANNOT use this SIM card.
If you are Korean, you have to be over 18 years old to buy the SIM card. Please also note that Korean nationals cannot activate the SIM card with a passport. You need to present your Korean resident ID card or driving license to activate the SIM card.
You can use the SIM card for ID verification for Korean mobile/web service only if you register the SIM card with a valid Korean resident ID card, such as ARC. If you would like to register your SIM card with your ARC information, please contact the customer center of the SIM card company via the SNS contact info provided on the manual.
You must bring your original passport and credit card to pick up the device.

This SIM card does not have access to KT(Olleh) free wifi network. You can use other non-carrier free wifi networks (e.g. free wifi networks provided in certain cafes such as Starbucks free wifi) when available.
Upon collecting a SIM card, you'll be provided with a manual with information on registration, top-up, and the customer service center. Please read the manual carefully and keep it with you just in case.

Does this SIM come with a Korean local 010 phone number?

Yes, a Korean phone number starting with 010 will be issued for all SIM card options.

Can I extend the SIM card for a long period?

Yes, this SIM card can be extended. To extend your SIM card validity beyond 90 days, you must have a valid Residence Card (Alien Registration Card, ARC) and register the SIM card with your ARC. To do so, please contact the customer center via the contact details provided in the manual BEFORE your SIM card expires. If you do not extend your SIM card within 3 days of its expiry, it will be automatically terminated.

Would this SIM stop working if I depart Korea?

According to the Korean law for major telecom companies, regardless of your plan, the SIM card will be terminated once you leave Korea. If you have an ARC and intend to travel outside of Korea, please consult with the SIM card company via the contact details provided in the manual.

What if the SIM doesn't work on my phone?

The universal type SIM card is compatible with phones using standard, micro, and nano SIM cards. Check with your phone carrier to make sure the SIM card is compatible with your device.

Please try the SIM card before you leave the pick-up location. The staff on site can assist you with installation and troubleshooting any issues.
