Revel in the beauty of early spring flowers around Seoul!

Cherry blossoms aren't the only spring flowers you can enjoy in Korea. Experience the magic of early blooms on a spring flower tour outside Seoul, exploring either the Icheon Sansuyu Festival with striking yellow flowers or the Wonmisan Azalea Festival with endless fields of purple blooms. Also visit Suwon Hwaseong, a historic stone and brick fortress surrounded by cherry blossom trees, traditional tea shops, and a local market.

Why this tour?
▷ Suwon Hwaseong: a historic fortress from the Joseon Dynasty that majestically surrounds Suwon City
▷ Icheon Sansuyu Festival: take pictures among splendid yellow sansuyu or dogwood flowers
▷ Wonmisan Azalea Festival: see the whole mountain turn bright purple with blooming azaleas
▷ Hassle-free spring tour that takes you to spots that are hard to reach with public transportation

[About the attractions]

▲ Suwon Hwaseong Fortress
Suwon Hwaseong Fortress is a UNESCO World Heritage site built during the Joseon Dynasty to serve as a military defense system. The 5.7km-long fortress walls include impressive gates, watchtowers, and pavilions, and the surrounding parks come alive with blooming cherry blossoms in the spring.

▲ Icheon Sansuyu Festival
The Icheon Sansuyu Festival is a popular spring festival that celebrates the blooming of the beautiful sansuyu (cornelian cherry) flowers. The bright yellow flowers cover the hills and villages, and you can enjoy various cultural performances and local food markets during the festival.
