The Discover Seoul Pass was very useful on my 10-day trip to Seoul. I bough a 72-hour pass, so I could enjoy my time at free attractions for three days. There was a whole array of places with free admission that interested me, even though some places like the palaces don’t have high entrance fees normally either. The red Seoul Tour Bus and Lotte World Adventure were definitely my favorites! And the discounts for some stores and activities were useful too. I’m definitely interested in the 120-hour pass that is now available as I didn’t have enough time this time around but hopefully next time I’ll be able to also go to the Korean Folk Village and Seoul Zoo.

24hrs with the Seoul Pass was good, but not enough... I enjoyed the Hanbok, the one palace I had time for and then a few hours at Lotte World which actually requires a full day on its own. If you get the 48hr or 72 hr options, you will not be pressed for time and would maximise the Discover Seoul Pass

  • When you visit a tourist site using the Discover Seoul Pass, present the QR code in the application.

[How to register the Discover Seoul Mobile Pass]
  1. Check the code on your voucher via email.
  2. Download the Discover Seoul Pass application at Google Play or App Store.
  3. Tap "Pass Registration" on the "More" tab.
  4. Select "Register Mobile Pass" and enter the activation code (reservation number) on the voucher.
  5. Your pass will be activated (initiating the countdown) when you use its first free benefit (including AREX, K limousine, Ttareungi bike). (e.g., With the 48-hour pass, if you use the first benefit at 9am on Jan 1st, the pass will be valid until 8:59am on Jan 3rd.)


  • When you visit a tourist site using the Discover Seoul Pass, present the QR code in the application.

[How to use the free transportation service]
AREX
  1. Click the "My Pass" button and select the AREX ticket redemption button. (*The pass will be activated.)
  2. Enter the AREX ticket code at the AREX ticket kiosk at Seoul/Incheon Airport
  3. Receive the ticket and use it.

Ttareungi (Seoul Public Bicycle)
  1. Download the Ttareungi app.
  2. Select "Foreigners" > Pass Purchase > Discover Seoul Pass > Enter the 10-digit QR code from the pass.
  3. Receive the ticket and use it.

K-limousine (Airport Bus)
  1. Check the routes and schedule on the airport bus website.
  2. Board the bus at the scheduled time.
  3. Scan the QR code when boarding to enjoy a free ride.

[How to use the eSIM]
  1. Run the Discover Seoul Pass Application, and tap "My Pass."
  2. Click the eSIM voucher button at the bottom of the mobile pass.
  3. Click the "Get it for free" button to receive your free 120-hour eSIM.
  4. Register the eSIM voucher received via email.
