The Suwon Hwaseong Cultural Festival is an annual celebration held every autumn at the UNESCO World Heritage site, Hwaseong Fortress. Experience Korea's royal history through reenactments of King Jeongjo's royal parade, traditional performances, hands-on cultural activities, and lively night events. Korean Folk Village is an open-air museum that showcases traditional Korean life and culture from the late Joseon period. It is composed of real historic houses relocated and reconstructed from different parts of the country and features cultural performances and exhibitions for all ages to enjoy.

[Oct 1 & 2] Water Performance 'Seonyumong'
Set on the serene Yongyeon Pond, this poetic water performance recreates King Jeongjo's elegant boat outings with his mother. Enjoy a magical blend of lights, music, and reflections inspired by Joseon-era traditions.



[Oct 3 & 4] Suwon Fantasy 'Yajo'
Inspired by King Jeongjo's night military training at Suwon Hwaseong, this epic outdoor performance features horseback drills, military choreography, fireworks, and powerful sound - a thrilling tribute to royal leadership and strength.
