  • Children under 6 years old are not allowed to participate.
  • Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by a guardian who is 18 years or older. Children under 15 are not permitted to travel alone.
  • Lift pass does NOT include night skiing.

*For the 2-day or 3-day package, all rental items can be returned on the last day of use.
*Accessories such as gloves, goggles, hats, undergarments, spats, and socks are not included, so please prepare your own. 
*Note that there is limited availability of larger and junior sizes, so it is advisable to inquire at the rental shop in advance. An extra charge may apply depending on the size. Please return rental items within the business hours of the rental shop.

[Lift pass and IC card deposit fees]
  • You can show your mobile ticket at the ticket counter to receive a physical lift pass (IC card). For the 2-day or 3-day package, you will need to pick up an IC card each day. Night skiing is not included.
  • A deposit of 1,000 yen per IC card is required when exchanging for lift passes.
  • The deposit will be refunded when you return the IC card at the recovery machine near the ticket booth. For multi-day packages, you may return all IC cards on the last day to receive the refund at once.
  • Each person needs one IC card, and the deposit applies per card.

Cancellation policy

All times are based on Korea Standard Time (KST) (GMT + 9 hours)
12 days before the reserved date: 100% refund
9~11 days before the reserved date: 80% refund
2~8 days before the reserved date: 70% refund
Less than 2 days before the reserved date (until 5:00pm): Non-refundable

FAQ

1. Show your ticket details from your phone at the rental shop to receive your rental gear and clothes.
2. Present your mobile ticket at the ski resort's lift ticket counter to receive the physical lift pass.
*The rental shop is located within a 5-minute walk from the lift pass counter.
You can reach the area by taking the Shinkansen, driving, or using the Nagano-Hakuba Express Bus. Additionally, the Shinjuku-Hakuba Express Bus added a new stop at Hakuba Iwatake Mountain Resort, effective April 1, 2019. Information on buses that go directly to Hakuba Iwatake, serving both the ski slopes and hotel area, has been compiled. There are also limited-time buses available only during the winter season.
If public transportation is suspended due to bad weather, the situation will generally depend on the cancellation policy
If the ski resort is closed due to a lack of snow, a decision will typically be made at least two days before departure. In the event of a cancellation, you will be notified.
