Once a small watercourse hidden by an overpass, Cheonggyecheon Stream was restored in 2005 and has been transformed into a haven of natural beauty amidst the bustle of city life.
Cheonggyecheon Stream passes close to Deoksugung Palace, Seoul Plaza, the Sejong Center, Insa-dong Street, Changdeokgung Palace, and Changgyeonggung Palace, allowing visitors to easily visit major tourist sites after a leisurely stroll along the stream.
It's open all year round, but it's definitely at its best during Spring and Summer where flowers and trees blossom.

I came here a couple of times with my family and enjoyed listening to random groups busking. It's a nice place to chill after shopping in Dongdaemun and enjoy the sunset. During summer, they also have night market events.

I've been here many times and I love the place. It's natural and relaxing especially during the night.

I love this place, day or night. In the summer, I take off my shoes to dip my feet in the water. Great place to have a sneaky beverage.
