Really loved this experience provided by Trazy.
I did a snowboard package and was pleasantly surprised by how convenient everything was.
My GF and I wanted just a chill day to snowboard and it met our expecations.
Upon going to Starbucks in Dongdaemun, we were greeted by Anthony (snowboard instructor) who checked us in.
We got on the heavily packed bus (wifi password at the front of the bus) and arrived 5 mins away from Elysian at a private clothing rental shop where we got our snowboard jacket + snow pants. There was a wide variety of colors and sizes to choose from. It was a little bit chaotic.
After arriving in Elysian, we got our lift tickets and snowboard equipment rental (boots + board), rented a locker (1500 won) and then hit the slopes around 11:30am.
The ski resort itself is small but cozy. I noticed it catered to a mainly foreigner crowd.
Note: Helmets are mandatory so bring your own if you have one!
The slope itself was quite nice... we stuck with the intermediate options (~3 various options). Not too crowded on a Monday but not empty either. Snow conditions were good in late January.
One downside is that the food there is quite bad and overpriced. We mainly skipped lunch and had a solid 4-5 hours on the slopes.
On the way back, it was much less crowded on the bus and they gave out cute souvenirs. Pleasant surprise!
Overall, I would highly recommend this package to anyone looking for a chill day to ski or snowboard. Anthony / Ryker were both very kind and cool people. Even though we didn't take the lesson, I'm sure they are great instructors.
We got back around 6pm to Dongdaemun plaza and had a nice dinner. Thanks for the experience, Trazy!
